The most impressive feature of the house, is the large lounge and dining area with its wooden clad domed ceiling and chandelier. Large wooden doors lead you through to the open planned and fully equipped kitchen.
French doors from the lounge and kitchen, take you on to the New England style verandah where you can relax on the wicker and deck chairs.
The garden is laid to lawn and has a pirate ship hideaway and slide for the kids to enjoy. Please note that there is also a small pond in the garden, that is currently uncovered.
There are 5 bedrooms to choose from,a downstairs toilet, an ensuite bathroom to the master bedroom, separate shower room, family bathroom, as well as a chill out room for the kids.
There is Sky TV, WiFi and you are permitted to bring one small/medium size well behaved dog.
The White House is conveniently located within a 15-20 minute walk of the High Street and beach, and has the benefit of private parking for up to 3 cars.
Our group had the most wonderful time at The White House at August Bank Holiday - five adults, four under-tens, and a very well-behaved dog fitted perfectly into this beautiful, glamorous and comfortable house - there was plenty of room for all, and we wanted for nothing. The pirate ship was a big hit, and we loved the terrace and the extra deck - perfect for morning coffees in the sun, and evening G&Ts in the dusk! The walk to the beach is a gentle 10-minute stroll, and it's only about £4 in a taxi back from all the lovely restaurants & bars in the town, if your legs fail you later! We love Whitstable anyway, but staying here made it really special - and we will definitely be back - thank you, Gail & Annie, for your care and help - a smashing experience..... J Savage
Just returned from a girly weekend staying in the White House, Whitstable. Was to celebrate three friends 50th birthdays! Tha house was beautiful and so spacious. There was nine of us and there was plenty of room. The garden was lovely and as we had lovely weather we spent most of the weekend in it! The house is short walk to the sea and amenities making it a perfect location. Would highly recommend this house and hope to be back in the future. S Ives
The lovely stained glass front door takes you through to the hallway. On the right is a chill outlounge for the kids, equipped with a full size American Pool table,TV, sofas and beanbags.
The hallway leads to the impressive lounge and dining area with its large L-shaped sofa, Sky TV and DVD player, dining table with bench seating and two chairs.
There is a large woodburning stove for you to enjoy in the winter months. In the summer open the french doors onto teh wrap round verandah and garden
The lounge then leads through to the kitchen which is fully equipped with large gas range, Smeg fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, walk-in larder, washing machine, tumble dryer and breakfast bar island.
French doors lead to the verandah and enclosed garden, where there is a decked area with patio furniture and a fabulous play pirate ship and slide.
There is a large bedroom on the ground floor with a double bed, hooks for hangers and dresser with drawers.
There is also a downstairs cloakroom with basin and toilet.
The master bedroom has a king size bed, large wardrobe, dressing table and ensuite bathroom with roll-top bath, basin and toilet.
There is a separate shower room and basin, as well as a large family bathroom with roll top bath, Victorian 'his and her' sinks and toilet.
There is a twin room with two single wooden sleigh beds (not suitable for anyone over 6 foot), chest of drawers and peg rail.
A second landing takes you to two double bedrooms, both equipped with contemporary low double beds, built in wardrobes and chest of drawers.
RENTAL PERIOD: Weekly rentals run from Friday-Friday during school holidays. Weekend and short breaks are available during low and shoulder seasons.
DOG POLICY: Dogs are welcome for an additional fee of £15. However, under no circumstances are dogs permitted upstairs, in the bedrooms, or allowed to lie on the bedding or chairs. Dogs must not be left unattended in properties, or elsewhere and should be exercised outside the property gardens or grounds. Please note that cats and other pets are not permitted in any holiday homes without prior consent from the owner.If you do not adhere to these conditions, some of the cautionary deposit may be retained by the owner.
RESTRICTIONS: This is a strictly non-smoking property.
NB The pirate play ship is used at your own risk. Parents of small children should also be aware that there is a small pond in the garden that is currently uncovered.

The number of people using the holiday property is not to exceed the maximum number stated in the property description on our website. This includes entertaining friends who are not on the guest list over to the property during your stay without prior consent from the Owner. Whitstable Holiday Homes Ltd and the Owner reserve the right to refuse entry to the entire party if the maximum number is not observed and in such a case no refund will be given. Children under 2 years are not normally counted for this purpose.
As per our Booking Conditions, we ask all guests to be respectful of the neighbours, as all of the holiday homes are located in residential areas. We are aware that you may be celebrating a special event during your stay, but ask again that you are respectful of local residents especially with regard to noise levels and disruption. Please also note that we do not accept hen or stag parties.
