The School House is a unique property located just off Nelson Road. This beautifully renovated old school house is full of charm and makes you smile when you walk through the front door. It is incredibly spacious inside and has a fabulous urban jungle style courtyard garden for you to enjoy.  The house is ideal for those with mobility issues as all on one level. The owner also welcomes one small well behaved dog.

Ground Floor:
The School house is located just off Nelson Road and is close to the beach and High Street. As you walk in through the front door you are greeted by one large open living space. There is a large L-shaped Habitat sofa and leather armchair in the lounge area; a wood-burning stove for those colder winter evenings; and large flat screen Smart TV.

The kitchen has an island with breakfast bar with stools and gas hob. There is also a built-in electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. The dining area has an extendable table, four dining chairs and bench seating.

Bifold doors take you in to the urban jungle garden with two sets of outside table and chairs, and outside lighting.

The dining area leads you through to two bedrooms and bathrooms. The master bedroom has a super-king bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside table with lamp, full length mirror and wall mounted TV. It also has an ensuite with walk in shower, basin and wc. The second bedroom has a king size bed, large wardrobe, chest of drawers with mirror and bedside tables with lamp

The family bathroom has a bath and overhead shower, basin and wc.

Private parking for two small or one large car is available at the front of the house.

Absolutely fantastic stay at The School House managed by Gail at Whitstable Holiday Homes. It’s a stunning bungalow renovation with big open space and very well designed throughout. The bedrooms are large and the living spaces well equipped and comfortable. The garden is a stunning little sun-trap with a tropical vibe and incredible palms - it felt at times that you could be in the Caribbean. WiFi was strong, reliable and reached all corners of the house and there was ample options for working from laptops as we were doing. We were the first guests in this location and first post-covid guests too. We were impressed with the safety measures and cleanliness. The owner popped by to check in on us and ensure everything was to our liking and even invited us to his own place for a cuppa which was a nice touch. Gail and Whitstable Holiday Homes were professional, speedy and clear with communications and generally ‘on it’ both pre, during and after our stay. Very well recommended in every respect.
