The staircase in our opinion makes this cottage unsuitable for those with limited mobility.
Children under 8 are also not permitted due to the stairwell.
Cobblers is a charming and surprisingly spacious 2 bedroom mid terrace cottage in the heart of the conservation area and just across the road from the harbour and just minutes from the beach, shops and restaurants. It has been beautifully renovated throughout and its mix of traditional and contemporary decor provides a wonderful place to stay for couples, friends and families. In summer months, the spacious kitchen and living area comes into its own with bifold doors to a well established courtyard garden for alfresco drinks.
Ground Floor:
The front door leads you into the charming lounge with its two seater sofa, two comfy armchairs, traditional Mahoghany furniture, standard lamps, Smart TV and beautiful artwork. Perfect room to unwind with a book or chill in front of the TV.
Walk through to the large spacious contemporary kitchen with its slick cupboards and Corian worktops. The kitchen is fully equipped with two undercounter fridges and one freezer, dishwasher, induction hob and electric oven, and ground coffee maker. There is a dining table and six chairs. You will also find games, CDs and player and books in the wall cupboards for you to enjoy. Or chill in the second lounge area with its two sofas, coffee table and beautiful ceramic art by the owners. Bi fold doors take you out to the courtyard garden with its established shrubs and bistro table and chairs. A lovely little spot for a morning coffee or evening pre drinks.
First Floor:
There is a very good size double bedroom with double bed, bedside tables and lights, built in wardrobe with hanging rail, mahogany chest of drawers, occasional table and chair and a pretty non working feature fireplace.
The large bathroom has a freestanding bath in the centre, walk in shower cubicle, basin with storage unit and wc. There is also a built in cupboard housing the washing machine and shelves for drying or storing items.
Second Floor:
The second double bedroom is accessed via narrow winding stairs. It is a very special spacious bedroom with its cute eaves windows; four poster double bed with bedside cabinets with four drawers each for clothes storage; bedside lamps and wall rail with hangers.
The stairs between all floors are a little steep so not ideal for those with limited mobility. For that reason and also because of the open stairwell on the top floor, this property is not suitable for kids under 8.
