Seaside House is a stylish mid terrace 3 bedroom cottage situated in Whitstable's conservation area.

This charming seaside home has been tastefully decorated throughout and has lovely added touches by the owners to make your stay even more memorable. It is ideally located within minutes of Whitstable's shops, restaurants and beach.

Ground Floor:
The front door leads you into the bright and cosy lounge, with its two contemporary sofas, coffee table, woodburning stove for those winter months, and Smart TV. There are also a selection of curated books, board games and DVDs appealing to a wide range of ages and interests.

The spacious dining room is furnished with a large oak dining table with oak bench seating and 4 chairs for up to 6 guests. There’s also a fabulous little nook with a comfy occasional chair - perfect for morning coffee and papers.

The modern galley kitchen is fully equipped with built in electric oven and gas hob, dishwasher, washing machine, large built in fridge/freezer. You will also find plenty of re-useable picnic ware for use in the garden or on the beach.

Seaside House bathroom has recently been completely refurbished and stylishly designed to a high standard.  It boasts a generous walk in rain shower and separate bath for a well-deserved end of day relaxing soak.

Entrance to the pretty south facing courtyard garden is either from the French doors in the dining room or from the kitchen. There is a table with 4 chairs and a bench seat to enjoy your breakfast in the sunshine or a little alfresco supper. The garden has festoon lighting for a magical after dark atmosphere.  The small ‘beach hut’ styled shed is where you will find the windbreak, portable parasol and of course the bucket and spades!  Seaside House also benefits from secure rear gate garden access which is perfect when returning from a day at the beach or if using a pushchair.

First Floor:

Access to the first and second floor is via some steep stairs, normal for these Victoria terraces, but not ideal for those with mobility issues.

The master Scandinavian style bedroom provides a relaxing and calm space with its king size bed. It is also furnished with a chest of drawers, bedside cabinets with lamps, dressing table with stool, built in wardrobe and TV.

The coastal themed twin bedroom has an artistic nod to local Whitstable points of interest. It is furnished with two standard single beds, a bedside drawer cabinet with lamp and a hanging rail with shelf.

Seaside House benefits from a self-contained upstairs WC which is perfect for those visiting with younger children and is located adjacent to the twin bedroom.

Second Floor:
Bedroom three is accessed via the steep staircase which is typical of this period property and is on the second floor – it is a wonderfully light and airy double bedroom and is furnished with a standard double bed, bedside tables and lamps, small chest of drawers, dressing table and chair, and built in wardrobe.

All bedrooms have full length mirrors, plug-in fans, hairdryers (king and double bedroom) and window shutters with blackout blind/curtains.

TESTIMONIALS
Such a wonderful stay in a wonderful house! Thank you for thinking of absolutely everything (toys, crabbing nets, bed guard etc...!)
Perfect location for shops, food & the beach!
We’ve had a fab time and will definitely return.
— Kelly, Amelie & Roman, Aug 2023
A lovely house, everything we needed. Recommend ‘Birdies’ French restaurant & ‘VC Jones’ fish and chips to eat on the beach at sunset, with a takeaway drink from Pearsons or The Old Neptune.
Also enjoyed our visit to the craft market at the harbour - on Sat or Sun only.
— The Purdy's, Sept 2023
A wonderful stay! Beautiful house and courtyard garden. Everything we could have needed and more. Location to town and beach first class... many thanks.
— The Ashman & Gothard Families, Aug 2023
Seaside house is perfectly situated amongst shops, restaurants and a stone’s throw away from the beach.
We’ve enjoyed the BBQ and the beautiful home comforts Seaside has to offer. This is a very special place and we will definitely be returning.
— The Williamson Family
A wonderful home! We come to Whitstable a lot and this is definitely the nicest of the homes we have stayed in.
Beautifully decorated and everything we could need, comfy beds..... a home from home!

Absolutely loved our stay at Seaside House. The attention to detail and the decor are fabulous! Thank you for the great toys and books the kids enjoyed during their stay and for the loan of the crabbing nets. We will be back!
— The Davis Family, Oct 2021
My family and I stayed for a few days for a post-Christmas break. We absolutely loved our stay. Beautiful home, comfortable rooms, with little touches everywhere. My daughter loved the little play nook and watering the plants in the garden. The cottage is conveniently located near Harbour Street, with its independent shops and delicious restaurants. We want to come back again!
