Winkle Cottage is a unique 3 bedroom terraced cottage, formerly a Oyster Dredgerman's Cottage, located right on the beach in the heart of Whitstable and offers spacious, comfortable and tastefully decorated accommodation throughout.
What makes this cottage very special is its stunning first floor roof terrace with extensive sea views and comfy sofas and the spacious open planned living area, which leads on to a secluded courtyard garden and provides direct access to the beach.
Ground Floor:
The cottage has the benefit of a large open planned kitchen, dining and lounge room offering a perfect social space for friends and family. The modern kitchen is very well equipped.
There is a dining table and chairs for entertaining; a three seat sofa with large poufee and two occasional chairs, to sit and relax in; and a TV and DVD player with a selection of DVDs and an IPOD dock.
The large French doors lead you onto a secluded courtyard garden with patio furniture and charcoal BBQ. There is then access to a raised deck with seating by the sea wall which offers direct access to the beach and sea views.
There is a separate utility area with washer/dryer, separate sink and cloakroom.
The modern family bathroom has a bath, basin and wc.
The childrens' bedroom is furnished with full size bunk beds, hanging pegs and a lovely selection of toys and books to play with.
First Floor:
The charming master bedroom has enviable sea views and large French doors that lead onto the stunning first floor sun terrace. The bedroom is furnished with a super-king bed, bedside cabinets, tall shabby chic cabinet with storage shelves, and wall pegs for hanging clothes on. There is a shower ensuite with walk in shower and wc.
The second bedroom is at the front of the cottage and is tastefully decorated and furnished with two single beds (which can be pushed together), chest of drawers and wall pegs for hanging.

Spacious and tastefully furnished on the inside, the house is located a literal stone’s throw from the sea and a figurative one from the Old Neptune and Cushing’s View. The cottage couldn’t have been more perfect for our two-year-old, who loved the beautiful doll house in the children’s bedroom just as much as she did the box of action figures and the pirate ship. The roof terrace is like something out of a movie. We will return!”
