Sunset Cottage is a unique seaside property on the popular West Beach, offers extensive sea views and direct beach access. The cottage is well equipped and has been simply but tastefully furnished. The wonderful feature of this cottage is its first floor decked balcony that provides you with extensive sea views and amazing sunsets!
Ground Floor:
The modern and fully fitted kitchen and utility room is accessed from the rear of the property via a raised deck area and is equipped with gas hob and electric oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a downstairs wc.
The spacious lounge and dining area is furnished with two sofas, side board, dining table and chairs and a wood burning stove for those colder nights. There is a TV with Freesat and built in DVD player. The living area provides access to the beach.
The rear decked terrace has patio table and chairs and overlooks a shared garden mainly laid to lawn. Parking is at the rear of the property in front of the garage and access to the cottage from the parking area is via the lawned garden.
First Floor:
The stairs to the first floor are a little steep so may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. There is a fixed stairgate at the top of the stairs.
The master bedroom has a king size bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers and a stunning view of the beach and sea. It provides access via sliding French doors to the first floor decked balcony
The family bathroom has a bath and overhead shower, wc and basin.
There is a twin bedroom with two single beds and built in wardrobe with hanging space and shelves.

“We have just returned from a week at Sunset Cottage accompanied by our rescue Westie Lily. We all fell in love with this quirky property and the position of the cottage is wonderful.
The cottage has everything you need for a very comfortable stay and the balcony is a fabulous feature and thoughtfully furnished.
Lily adored spending her days going out of the door onto the beach and soon made pals.
You are only a few minutes from everything Whitstable has to offer yet the position of the cottage leads to a feeling of tranquility.
It is worth noting that there are steps into the property at both entrances ( unavoidable due to the sea wall) and the interior staircase is steep so it is not a property if mobility is significantly compromised.
We will definitely return to this lovely property and WHH made the booking process personal and simple.

“I am very happy to have been recommended Sunset Cottage. We had a wonderful stay and I have already rebooked for next year. The location is perfect as the beach just outside the front door is dog friendly all year round. Being able to garage the car was also a great benefit, as was the lovely garden. The cottage has every conceivable essential and luxury with a Nespresso and washing machine and even a dishwasher. Although the eat out options are plentiful and just a short walk away. A real winner.
